FTS - 3 Development Cycling Stages

"Our model is proven... Our players believe by following our 3 cycling stages (FTS) that it's the best method for their overall success."

FTS was created by master coach Jesse Cooper for the purpose of wholly developing the person and player, to yield their best expression of success on and off the court. The process is designed to empower players for total performance through the cycling of 3 stages geared towards the evolution and maximization of their physical, mental and competitive performance.

TEACHING & TRAINING MODEL

Foundational

F ] Foundational focuses on the teaching and learning of any technical or physical element of the game. At it's core, this stage is where we will identify and build resources. And seed understanding of both the form and the function of how/why things work.

Example:
The groundstroke. The serve. The volley. Stance footwork, and movement. Tactical positions.

Transformational

T ] Transformational focuses on developing players personal and performance perspective. Players learn to identify and convert resources into assets.

Example:
Implementation of tactics under the purpose of a strategy. Healthy self-development. How-to create good habits. Converting playable (skill/practice) competence to competitive competence.

Scalable

S ] Scalable takes a focused look into specific functions or mechanisms where players can enhance, or grow their current ability, immediately.

Example:
Immediately increasing the MPH of your serve, without changing the form. Improving the quality of your ball contact. Isolating to strengthen key areas.
